Role description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer for a targeted 6-week contract based in Northern Ireland. This role is ideal for a freelancer who excels at blending data visualization with high-end aesthetic design. The primary focus of this project is to elevate the visual impact of our data reporting by creating bespoke graphic assets specifically optimized for Microsoft Power BI. Role Overview Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland Duration: 6 Weeks Schedule: 3 Days per week Rate: £200.00 per day Key Responsibilities Design custom Power BI themes, including JSON color palettes and typography settings. Create high-fidelity background templates (layouts) that improve dashboard navigation and user experience (UX). Develop a library of custom icons and UI elements tailored for data storytelling. Ensure all visual assets maintain brand consistency while optimizing for dashboard performance and clarity. Collaborate with data stakeholders to translate complex requirements into intuitive visual interfaces. Requirements & Skills Proven Experience: A strong portfolio showcasing graphic design work, specifically for Power BI or similar data visualization tools. Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop) or Figma. Data Literacy: A solid understanding of how design impacts data interpretation; knowledge of Power BI’s layout constraints is essential. Attention to Detail: Ability to produce clean, professional assets that align with modern UI/UX principles.
