Trade Compliance Coordinator

Job Title: Trade Compliance ManagerLocation: San Jose, CA 95134 – 100% OnsiteDuration: 6+monthsPay Rate: $62/hr on W2 (no benefits) Preferred Qualifications U.S. Licensed Customs Broker (highly preferred) Experience with Oracle, ERP systems, and data analytics/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) Background in manufacturing, preferably within life sciences Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day U.S. and Canada trade compliance operational activities and support global compliance initiatives. Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Logistics, R&D, Quality, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with trade laws and internal policies. Lead tariff mitigation and duty-saving initiatives including: First Sale Duty Drawback Country of Origin Determinations Reconciliation Section 232 tariff assessments Cost-avoidance strategies Develop, implement, and enhance trade compliance programs, policies, SOPs, and internal controls across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Identify compliance risks and execute process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce regulatory exposure.
