Role description
Our client is seeking Guidewire Consultant to join their team. Job Description Guidewire Consultant Contract Work location : Hartford, CT or Hunt Valley, MD,St Paul, MN, Atlanta, GA. Hybrid (3 days in client office and 2 days work from home). Does the resource have to be Local: Yes. Open to relocation. For location, it must be either of the following: Hartford, CT, Hunt Valley, MD, Does this role have any Visa Restrictions : NA โ€ข What are must-have skills for this role? โ€ข Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration 2. & Integration, Integration Gateway (IG), App Events 3. Hands on development experience with Guidewire Gosu and Advanced Product Designer (APD). โ€ข Years of experience required for each skill: 8+ years in IT (preferred), 6+ years hands-on PolicyCenter, 2-3 years as Technical Lead. This role is tech lead which comes with experience at least 5 years of experience is preferable. Certifications โ€ข Required: Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration with Cloud version. โ€ข Preferred: PolicyCenter ACE, Integration ACE. โ€ข What are some nice-to-have skills : 1. Java (Apache Camel Framework) 2. Design Innovation, CI/CD automation, event-driven patterns. 3. Technical architecture โ€ข Job description/responsibilities: โ€ข As a Software Development Lead, candidate is expected to be a subject matter expert and will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems either end-to-end or for a specific stage of the product lifecycle. Candidate will be responsible for team decisions, managing stakeholders and contributing to key decisions. โ€ข Expert proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter is required. Expert proficiency in Guidewire Advanced Product Designer is recommended. Advanced proficiency in Design Innovation, Guidewire Integration, and Java will be useful. โ€ข Lead the design and implementation of innovative software solutions that meet client needs. โ€ข Facilitate team meetings to encourage collaboration and ensure alignment on project goals. โ€ข Mentor team members to enhance their skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement. โ€ข Analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the development team. โ€ข Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve system performance and user experience. โ€ข Serve as a subject matter expert in Guidewire PolicyCenter, Integration, Integration Gateway (IG), and App Events. โ€ข Lead end-to-end design and implementation of PolicyCenter solutions, including product modeling and integrations. โ€ข Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and ensure quality delivery. โ€ข Configure and customize APD, product model, rating, underwriting rules, data model, PCF, forms, and code generation. โ€ข Design and implement integrations using IG, REST services, messaging framework, and plugins. โ€ข Implement event-driven integrations with App Events, including schema design and error handling. โ€ข Support Guidewire Cloud Platform deployments and upgrades. โ€ข Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, QA, DevOps, and vendors. โ€ข Drive innovation, performance optimization, and reusable integration components.
