Job Title : Guidewire Policy Center Application Consultant
Location : Chicago, IL
Job Description:
• Bachelor's degree or Master’s Degree in Computer science, or a related field, with minimum 12+ Years of relevant experience
• Guidewire Policy Center Experience — 7–10 years of hands-on implementation, configuration, and development experience.
• Guidewire Product Suite Knowledge — Strong understanding of Policy Center and Guidewire frameworks including workflows, rulesets, data model, and configuration architecture.
• Screen Configuration & XML Customization — Experience creating, modifying, and enhancing screens using Guidewire UI configuration and XML changes.
• Product Designer Configuration — Experience configuring offerings, question sets, coverages, limits, and product-related entities.
• Insurance Domain Knowledge — Ability to understand insurance processes and convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Business Analyst Collaboration — Experience gathering, clarifying, and translating functional requirements into system changes.
• Organizational Configuration — Experience configuring organizations, groups, roles, permissions, producer structures, and producer codes.
• Guidewire Development Tools — Experience configuring and coding with Guidewire tools, accelerators, batches, and predefined plugins.
• Software Engineering Best Practices — Ability to follow established design patterns, coding standards, and software delivery practices.
• DevOps & SCM Tools — Experience using Git, Jenkins, Maven, and release/deployment tools in a development lifecycle.
• Application Consulting Experience — 1–3 years in an application consulting or implementation-focused role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
