Role description
Guidewire Policy Centre Business Analys ONSITE – 6 months contract - San Antonio, TX (1 position) Job Description: Experience: 7+ Years Guidewire Policy Centre Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and documenting business requirements related to the Guidewire cloud implementation, enhancement, and optimization of Guidewire InsuranceSuite modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter). This role acts as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure Guidewire solutions align with business needs and objectives. Responsibilities include: Β· Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements. Conduct workshops, interviews, and focus groups to understand workflows, pain points, and areas for improvement. Β· Solution Design: Collaborate with developers and architects to design solutions that meet business objectives. Map business processes to Guidewire capabilities and propose configuration/customization options. Β· System Integration: Analyze integration points between Guidewire and other systems such as third-party vendors, data warehouses, and payment gateways. Document integration requirements, data flows, and APIs to ensure seamless connectivity. Β· Testing and Validation: Collaborate with QA teams to create test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on business requirements. Participate in system testing, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and address any identified gaps or defects. Β· Stakeholder Engagement: Support end-users during testing and provide functional expertise to resolve issues. Foster strong relationships with business stakeholders to build trust, deepen understanding of business processes and objectives, and ensure analysis management processes are driven by business, quality, experience, and system teams. Β· Guidewire Certification is good to have. This role requires a strong understanding of property casualty rating and policy coverages, as well as knowledge of commercial insurance (Auto, Umbrella, Dwelling, P3) Line of businesses. It also involves applying Agile methodology and Scrum to perform business analysis processes independently. Job Type: Contract Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
