Role description
Role: Data Analyst Quality Advisor
Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ Months of contract
Department:
team works with patient level date from member hospitals, data is then loaded into Premier internal data acquisition tools
analyst works on health system support team, lots of collaboration (3-4 others)
Responsibilities:
not data entry role - this role will work with member hospitals on validating data
will review data before data is loaded
work with member hospitals to make corrections to data
lots of back and forth of data from hospital
check to make sure data validity
own subset of hospitals where they are competing the process from start to finish
processing some support
review mortalities and readmission (side of support to this role)
will be doing some processing data and analyzing, but more of a front-end role working directly with the member hospital
Skills:
does not require coding (SQL)
will work with SQL scripts but not be doing any coding
will run a script (work with preset of scripts)
MS Excel
ability to pick up on technical concepts
2+ years of experience
good communication
customer service background
hospital/healthcare industry experience desired
Job Description
β’ Preparing the data for loading into this company's data acquisition toolsto support Clinical products; review and understand data files priorto loading; perform initial reconciliation of data to ensure dataimported aligns with memberβs general ledger; import member datainto Data acquisition tools; ensure data is validated and corrected
β’ prior to publishing to Clinical products
β’ Secure approval from the supervisor to send data to the data warehouse
β’ Work closely with QualityAdvisor Operations (clinical) team regarding QA issues, mapping member charge codes; send inpatient data to clinical staff to perform a resource consumption clinical quality assurance test (QA).
β’ Analyze clinical and financial data; review reports; send error reports to member
β’ Research member issues and/or financial charges against coded data; perform validation and manual audit of data; reconcile data ensuring that patient data ties back to memberβs financials. Ability to identify and research issues, may or may not be able to resolve them
β’ Communicate with members on a regular basis via email and phone calls answering basic member questions regarding data, processing or reporting issue.
β’ Provide written communication regarding deadlines, decisions, explanations of issues, etc.
β’ Working with member to correct validations identified
β’ Work closely with IT Data Warehouse Services, Development, Data
β’ Quality, Solution Center, and Data Management teams to make
β’ data corrections; support member questions, secure alternatives for
β’ application errors; or resolve data integrity issues in QualityAdvisor
β’ and Quality Measures Reporter
β’ 10% Developing understanding of how members use the products 5%
β’ Prepare documentation and manuals for member kick-off and training meetings
β’ Participate in internal training of new products or releases; update
β’ training documentation materials; transfer knowledge to other consultants
β’ 5% Shadow and assist with implementations

β’ This position may require travel to hospitals to assist with installations, kickoffs or training classes for clients
