Role description
No C2C or subcontractors, please. Senior Data Engineer (3 openings) W-2 only. We provide benefits. 12 months to start 100% Remote Pay: 60-68/hr Interview process: 1 Round The position is open in a data engineering team that is responsible for processing Claims, Revenue, Rx Medicare Specific files and data from external insurance payors and 25 other clients that lead into the Data Warehouse. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality modern data solutions through collaboration with our engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams in a fast-paced, agile environment, leveraging cutting-edge technology to reimagine how Healthcare is provided. You will be instrumental in designing, integrating, and implementing solutions on-premise as well as supporting migrations of existing workloads to the cloud. Ideally Looking For: Data Engineer with strong analysis skills, specifically with SQL. Experience helping a company go from on-prem to the Cloud with Databricks experience. Self-starter that is highly motivated with strong communication skills, who can work independently, and who can take ownership. The data is messy, and they need someone who is able to wrangle this messy data (legacy code) and make sense of it, then present to a Lead Engineer on their analysis and next steps. Top Skills Profile: β€’ Individual contributor – Doers (5 – 10 years) β€’ SQL – Analyze the code and make sense of it all – analysis skills – wrangling data in multiple ways – data is messy (Legacy code) – present to lead engineer, analysis and next steps β€’ Azure or GCP β€’ Healthcare β€’ DataBricks β€’ Python and PySpark to support and implement Cloud-based and on-prem data warehousing services.
