Location: Bloomfield, CT (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote β must be local)

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hrs/week (MonβFri, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM)

Job Overview:
The Data Measurement & Reporting Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert, delivering analytical and operational reporting solutions for enterprise-level healthcare data. The role involves identifying data issues, root cause analysis, and the development of insights for business performance improvement. You will support self-service BI tools, dashboards, and cross-functional projects involving Data Science, Clinical, and Medical Economics teams.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Perform root cause analysis of application issues, document findings, and implement solutions.
β’ Translate user needs into reporting and data requirements, supporting enhancements and new content development.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable reporting capabilities and performance metrics.
β’ Ensure operational readiness and stability of projects during go-live.
β’ Own and resolve issues across data/reporting tools, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
β’ Enforce service level agreements (SLAs) with upstream data sources.
β’ Support Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives by helping define SLOs/SLIs and performance metrics.
β’ Analyze large datasets ("big data") to uncover issues, insights, and opportunities for improved reporting.
Required Qualifications:
β’ High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Health Management, or related field preferred.
β’ 3+ years of experience in data analysis/reporting in the healthcare/managed care industry.
β’ Strong SQL and database querying skills (SQL Server, TOAD, Hadoop, HUE, Teradata, SAS EG).
β’ Experience with AWS, Databricks, and reporting tools such as Tableau, Looker, Excel, Cognos, ServiceNow, or SCORE.
β’ Familiarity with Python, SRE concepts, and monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, CA APM is a plus.
β’ Proven ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and analytical precision.
Non-Negotiable Skills:
1. Experience in querying data from databases.
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
1. High attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
