Role description
HR Data Analyst
Remote, until August 2027 - UK mainland based applications only
We are seeking an experienced HR Data Analyst to support workforce data management and reporting across a range of business transformation and Mergers & Acquisitions activity.
Working closely with HR, Finance, IT and business stakeholders you'll be responsible for maintaining employee datasets, producing workforce analytics, tracking organisational changes, and ensuring data accuracy throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Extract, maintain and analyse employee data from Workday and other HR systems.
• Create and manage workforce reports, dashboards and employee census data.
• Track and reconcile hires, leavers, transfers and organisational changes.
• Support business transformation, integration and separation activities through accurate workforce reporting.
• Produce clear insights for stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT and programme teams.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, governance and confidentiality.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Minimum of 5 years HR data analysis experience.
• Essential experience working with Workday.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH and Power Query.
• Proven ability to analyse and reconcile large, complex datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail and data quality focus.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable Experience
• Experience supporting M&A, integrations, separations or business transformation programmes.
• Power BI or other data visualisation experience.
• Background in HR Operations, HRIS, Workforce Analytics or People Analytics.
