About The Role Airbus Commercial is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented HR Data Analyst (Contract) to join our dynamic team in Herndon, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming HR data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to design methodologies, develop models, and employ advanced analytics techniques tailored to business needs. Your responsibilities will include data extraction, exploratory data analysis, and creating compelling dashboards and reports to communicate findings effectively. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science/Analytics, Applied Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. β€’ Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with SQL and Python. β€’ Practical experience applying analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL) in a business environment to solve real-world problems. β€’ Knowledge of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sets (XML, JSON, etc.). β€’ Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and database concepts. β€’ Familiarity with machine learning models and algorithms, with some practical application or coursework experience. β€’ Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, SAS, or Alteryx. β€’ Certifications such as Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer are a plus. β€’ Authorized to work in the US. Responsibilities β€’ Assist in collecting, cleaning, and transforming data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and consistency. β€’ Perform large-scale data analysis using statistical and mathematical techniques to uncover business insights. β€’ Identify actionable recommendations and communicate results effectively to cross-functional teams through dashboards and reports. β€’ Develop and refine data models, algorithms, and machine learning solutions to support HR initiatives. β€’ Create data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Skywise to present complex data insights clearly. β€’ Write and execute SQL, Python, or other programming language queries to extract and manipulate data. β€’ Document data processes, methodologies, findings, and solutions for future reference and compliance. β€’ Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. β€’ Continuously learn and adopt new data technologies, tools, and best practices to improve analytical capabilities. β€’ Support data governance and ensure adherence to data privacy and security standards. β€’ Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models to enhance HR analytics and decision-making processes. β€’ Perform business data analysis to identify key trends, patterns, and insights aligned with Airbus standards.
