Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Data Analyst to support human resources operations through data analysis, reporting, and system administration. This role will provide back-fill support for HR data analysis and PeopleSoft system activities, ensuring accurate data management, reporting, and workflow support for HR leadership and university departments. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with HR systems, and the ability to translate workforce data into meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Provide back-fill support for human resources data analysis and PeopleSoft system administration
β’ Address HR workflow inquiries and assist departments with PeopleSoft transactions and processes
β’ Generate HR metrics, reports, and workforce analytics for university leadership and stakeholders
β’ Support HR data management including employee records, position data, and organizational reporting
β’ Assist with HR reporting related to workforce trends, compliance, and operational metrics
β’ Process HR-related transactions within PeopleSoft and ensure data accuracy and integrity
β’ Partner with HR teams and departments to troubleshoot system issues and improve processes
β’ Develop dashboards and reporting tools to support HR decision-making
β’ Maintain documentation for HR data processes, workflows, and system usage
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
β’ Experience working with PeopleSoft
β’ Strong data analysis and reporting skills using Excel, SQL, or BI tools
β’ Experience generating HR metrics and workforce analytics reports
β’ Ability to support HR system workflows and process transactions
β’ Strong attention to detail and data integrity practices
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience working in a higher education or university environment
β’ Familiarity with HR reporting, compliance, and workforce data governance
β’ Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
β’ Knowledge of HR processes including hiring, employee lifecycle, and organizational reporting
