HR Data Analyst - Contract
Location: Houston, Texas (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Pay Rate: $35.00/hr
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Data Analyst to support HR projects, programs, and data/reporting requirements. In this role, you will investigate system issues, collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions, and ensure data accuracy to support strategic HR objectives. You will work with HR systems, generate reports, configure system tables, and assist with compliance reporting.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Arrive at the office (or log in remotely) and review any system alerts, pending data requests, or overnight batch processes.
Conduct routine audits of HR data within the company's HCM system to identify and correct errors.
Generate recurring and ad hoc HR data reports, providing insights to HR leadership and business units.
Configure foundational tables in the HCM system, approve system change requests, and conduct testing for enhancements.
Collaborate with internal HR teams and external consultants to troubleshoot system issues and ensure timely resolutions.
Extract HR data for compliance submissions, including BLS, US Census Bureau, EEO-1, and AAP reports.
Document processes for the internal knowledge base and assist with quarterly group social reporting.
Use Microsoft Excel, SuccessFactors, ADP Vantage, or similar tools for data analysis, reporting, and configuration.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, Mathematics, or related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in Human Resources Information Systems.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple assignments with accuracy and within deadlines.
Experience with HCM HR Core configuration (preferably SuccessFactors, ADP Vantage).
Skilled in building reports within HCM tools (e.g., ADP Custom Report, SuccessFactors Analytics).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
