HTS Classification Analyst β Trade Compliance / Data Analytics / SAP
Location: Metro ATL
Pay: $30-38/hour
Schedule: MondayβFriday; primarily onsite for ramp up, then hybrid
Our client is a global leader in manufacturing..
They are looking for an experienced HTS Classification Analyst to support a 6-month (potentially up to 12 months) contract assignment focused on refining their U.S. product classification system. This is a hands-on role that offers the chance to work with multiple departments and drive meaningful impact in compliance and operations.
What You Get To Do
β’ Audit and update Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications for U.S. imports
β’ Analyze documentation and work with internal experts to assign accurate tariff codes
β’ Maintain clear and organized documentation for regulatory compliance
β’ Coordinate updates in internal databases and support related reporting tasks
β’ Stay informed on changes to customs regulations and update classifications accordingly
What You Need To Succeed
β’ At least 3 years of experience in HTS classification or global trade compliance
β’ Strong Excel skills and familiarity with large datasets
β’ Experience with SAP or similar ERP platforms is a plus
β’ Ability to understand and interpret technical product information
β’ Detail-oriented and comfortable working across departments including logistics and engineering
