We work at the intersection of strategy, design, and technology, blending deep human insight with structured creativity, systems thinking, and AI acceleration. About the Role The Human-Centered Technologist (Full-Stack + AI) will turn early-stage concepts into functional prototypes, AI-powered tools, technical architectures, and MVPs. You will collaborate with strategists and service designers in rapid sprints to ensure every solution is feasible, scalable, and grounded in human needs. You will work across a variety of innovation projects across different industries and verticals. Key Responsibilities β€’ Build functional prototypes, demos, and MVPs using Figma, React, Next.js, React Native, Node.js, and Python. β€’ Rapidly experiment, iterate, and improve concepts based on human insights and testing. β€’ Integrate AI (OpenAI, Anthropic, vector databases, agents) into new products and tools. β€’ Build AI workflows, automations, and lightweight data pipelines. β€’ Design simple, scalable technical architectures and advise on build-vs-buy decisions. β€’ Translate human insights and business needs into technical solutions. β€’ Collaborate with strategists, designers, and clients in high-velocity innovation sprints. β€’ Support the development of internal Human Factor ventures and AI-driven tools. Required Skills and Experience β€’ 3–8 years of experience as a full-stack engineer or similar role. β€’ Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js, Python, and APIs. β€’ Experience with Firebase, Supabase, or Postgres. β€’ Experience building prototypes rather than only maintaining production systems. β€’ Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or AI automation tools. β€’ Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving, exploratory environments. β€’ Strong collaboration and communication skills. β€’ Ability to translate technical concepts into simple, human-friendly language. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience in venture studios, startups, or innovation labs. β€’ Familiarity with design thinking, lean startup, and rapid experimentation frameworks. β€’ Experience in sectors such as healthcare, sustainability, or education. β€’ Experience building internal tools, AI assistants, or automations.
