We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. Position requires an Active Secret Clearance and offer full time benefits.
This will be a hybrid work schedule. Onsite, uncleared work, will be performed in Tysons Corner for the first 12 months. Hybrid work will continue, but any cleared work would need to be onsite in Ft Belvoir, VA.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on AWS technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing scalable and reliable infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes, and will demonstrate proficiency in programming and scripting.
Responsibilities
β’ Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS technologies such as ECR, EKS, S3, and Networking.
β’ Utilize Terraform and Kubernetes to ensure scalable and reliable infrastructure.
β’ Develop and maintain scripts and automation processes using Python or other programming languages.
β’ Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems and optimize workflows.
β’ Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Essential Skills
β’ Secret Clearance and ability to meet all physical and security clearance requirements.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
β’ 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or software development roles.
β’ Proficiency in AWS technologies, including ECR, EKS, S3, and Networking.
β’ Strong skills in Terraform and Kubernetes.
β’ Programming and scripting proficiency, with Python preferred.
β’ Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
β’ Experience with Ansible for managing Kubernetes workloads and configuration automation.
β’ Familiarity with government-related IT policies, frameworks, or regulatory requirements.
β’ Knowledge of additional cloud infrastructure tools and best practices.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
