Job description
β’ MQ/ACE Admin daily activities include but not limited to Creating the MQ Queue Managers, Channels, Queues, Increasing the Channels, Configuring MQ Triggers...Etc.β¦ based on the Application requirement.
β’ MQ/ACE Installations/Upgrades, MQ Clustering, Load balancing, Queue Status, Type of Channel Status.
β’ Experience with Jenkins pipeline, IBM Chef deployments, git, XLR,
β’ Provided 24/7 on call support in production environment.
β’ Working with IBM on the PMRs.
β’ Supporting & Assisting the Development/Application Teams in their Testing in all the environments till they successfully go into Production.
β’ Prepare and implement the Change Plans and providing the RCA for problems, which are critical to business.
β’ Experience in BASH, Perl scripting for WMQ, automatic start/stop for channels, trigger monitors, Listeners, Channel Status, and MQ Security.
Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
