Location: McLean, VA (Onsite) Duration: 12-18 months, with potential for extension or full-time conversion Anticipated Hours: 40 per week Core Business Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET Target Start Date: 12/1/2025 Icertis Deployment SME Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Icertis Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Deployment SME to support the rollout of Icertis CLM as part of a broader enterprise transformation program. The role will focus on contract obligation management, clause libraries, compliance flow-downs, and integration with Infor (S2P) and Costpoint (Finance). The SME will work closely with our System Integrator (SI) consultants, Booz Allen business process owners, and compliance officers to ensure Icertis is configured to reflect to-be processes, meet federal contracting requirements, and integrate seamlessly into the end-to-end contract β†’ procurement β†’ finance lifecycle. Key Responsibilities β€’ Partner with SI Icertis consultants to design and validate contract management workflows (contract authoring, obligation tracking, approvals). β€’ Participate in the design and build session with Contracts, Legal, Supply Chain, and Finance stakeholders. β€’ Identify contract data elements (CLINs, SLINs, obligations, deliverables, milestones) that require mapping into Costpoint non-CAS structures. β€’ Define obligation-to-financial mapping rules (e.g CLIN <-> Project Code <-> Billing Event). β€’ Validate interface requirements for milestone-based billing, deliverables, and fee structures that fall outside standard CAS pools. β€’ Collaborate with Finance Data Analyst and Finance SME (on behalf of Controller) to ensure obligations align with Costpoint billing logic. β€’ Document and test Icertis-to-Costpoint integration scenarios for non-CAS contracts during UAT. β€’ Ensure FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and DCAA requirements are embedded into contract templates, workflows, and reporting. β€’ Oversee clause library, metadata, and template setup to support compliance and auditability. β€’ Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect and Data Lead to align Icertis contract data with Infor (procurement) and Costpoint (finance). β€’ Develop and validate obligation-to-action flows, ensuring contract milestones and deliverables trigger appropriate actions in downstream systems. β€’ Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test cases, validating obligation workflows, and documenting results. β€’ Partner with the Change Management Lead to create training content for contracts, legal, and supply chain users. β€’ Provide expertise during hypercare post–go live to stabilize operations. Qualifications β€’ 5+ years of hands-on experience with Icertis CLM deployments (configuring workflows, clause libraries, obligation management). β€’ Strong understanding of federal contracting requirements (FAR/DFARS, ITAR, DCAA). β€’ Leadership experience in aerospace, defense or highly regulated industries. β€’ Proven track record integrating Icertis with ERP (Infor/SAP/Oracle) and Finance (Costpoint/Deltek) systems. β€’ Strong business analysis skills – ability to translate legal/contract requirements into system configuration. β€’ Excellent communication and facilitation skills with cross- functional teams. Nice to Have Skills β€’ Experience in catalogue and supplier compliance flow-downs. β€’ Familiarity with Infor CloudSuite A&D and Deltek Costpoint. β€’ Prior experience in Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) for contracts and compliance β€’ AI knowledge and tools automation β€’ Experience utilizing AI tools in ERP and supply chain deployment and operations beneficial. β€’ Knowledge of audit and reporting controls for government contracting.
