Identity Security Architect

Our client is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Network Security Data Center Engineering team and must have a strong background in networking and/or security. We are seeking a proactive, detailoriented, and highly motivated individual who is also comfortable with clientfacing responsibilities. Responsibilities: Designing, building, and supporting Palo Alto firewall platforms and associated services Demonstrating strong understanding of public cloud concepts across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform Consulting on requests submitted to the Network Security Engineering team s ServiceNow queue Ensuring all requests and implementations comply with information security standards Implementing approved Firewall Change Requests Performing detailed peer reviews of team members implementations Collaborating with interfacing Network and Security teams to troubleshoot firewallrelated incidents Contributing to ongoing Firewall Policy lifecycle improvements Qualifications: Minimum 4 years of experience in a network and/or securityrelated role Minimum 2 years of handson experience with firewalls Solid understanding of IT security principles Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including: Subnetting VPN concepts Switching and routing Ability to translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions Experience analyzing and troubleshooting issues using network packet captures Proficiency with Python scripting Preferred Certifications: Palo Alto Networks certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE, etc.) CompTIA Security+ or Network+ CISSP Cisco CCNA or CCNP Salary/Rate: $70-$75/HR (depends on experience level).
