Job Title: IIS Developer (W2) Duration: 06 months Location: Remote Citizen only Job Description Responsible for the development, configuration, and configuration of web applications hosted on IIS servers. This role requires a strong understanding of web technologies, server management, and security protocols. Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Design, develop, and maintain web applications hosted on IIS servers. Server Configuration: Configure and manage IIS servers, ensuring optimal performance and security. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to IIS server performance, connectivity, and application errors. Security Management: Implement security measures to protect web applications and server data. Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, system administrators, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of web applications. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for server configurations, application setups, and troubleshooting procedures. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize server performance to ensure high availability and responsiveness of web applications. Required Skills Technical Expertise: Proficiency in IIS server management, web application development, and related technologies (e.g., ASP.NET, SQL Server). Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Security Knowledge: Understanding of web security protocols and best practices. The skills necessary to build out an IIS server correctly and securely do not exist within Public Security. This position needs to be filled quickly to bring a business operational learning server back into production. Required Education Bachelor's Degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or CompTIA Server+, etc.) Required Years of Experience 2-5 Years Additional Comments This position needs to be filled quickly. The initial work will focus on building out an IIS server to support an LMS connection. Once that work is complete there will be a shift in correcting vulnerabilities/structure of pubic facing sites.
