Role: Software Engineer II / Image Processing Engineer II
Location: Onsite Sullivan Park, Corning, NY 14831
Duration: 6 months (possible extension)
Interview β 1st round Video / 2nd Round Onsite
Rate Range: $40-46/hr.
What the client is looking for:
β’ Strong MATLAB expertise (must-have), ideally with parallel processing, image processing, curve fitting, and signal processing toolboxes.
β’ Ability to develop and debug custom data/image processing software with multiple subroutines.
β’ Solid statistics knowledge (higher order moments, correlation methods).
β’ Experience handling large datasets (GB to TB scale).
β’ Background in writing complex data processing software.
β’ Education: BS in Computer Science/Engineering/related STEM.
β’ 3+ years of relevant experience.
Daily Work:
β’ Develop new image processing algorithms to extract and analyze features from images.
β’ Study feature consistency/inconsistency to derive process insights.
β’ Maintain and organize code libraries.
