Import/Export Compliance Data Analyst

Industry: Automotive Manufacturer Job Title: Global Trade Compliance Data Analyst / Technologist Duration: 6-8 months, possibility to extend up to a year Location: Remote Pay Range: $60/hr - $62/hr Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Act as a hybrid compliance technologist: combine knowledge of U.S. customs import regulations with advanced data analysis. • Analyze large-scale import and customs datasets (individual transactions worth $20-40M). • Use SQL and enterprise-grade data platforms (e.g., Alteryx, Denodo, big data tools) to extract, analyze, and deliver insights. • Partner with compliance stakeholders to interpret U.S. customs data and assess tariff impacts on parts, suppliers, and vehicles. Must Haves: • Proven experience with U.S. customs imports and trade compliance, including regulations and rules around importing into the U.S. • Strong data analysis skills, with fluency in SQL and enterprise-grade platforms (Alteryx, Denodo, Big Data environments).
