Role description
Role: Industrial Analytics Engineer/Lead Location: Pittsburgh, PA(On-site is preferred but can try for Remote as well if candidate is ready to travel as needed OR relocate to work on-site after 1-2 months.) Contract $45-$50/hr on W2 Must-Have Skills: • Capacity modeling (OEE, cycle time, bottleneck analysis) • Labor and cost modeling (COGS, LOH, ROI/NPV/IRR) • Manufacturing analytics & process optimization • Simulation tools (FlexSim / AnyLogic / Simio) • Data analytics: Excel (advanced), SQL, Python, BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) • PFEP and material flow modeling • Scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and forecasting • AI/ML-based analytics (preferred) Must-Have Experience: • 7+ years in industrial engineering analytics/ manufacturing modeling • Experience building end-to-end IE models (capacity + labor + cost) • Strong exposure to factory operations, throughput optimization, and cost analysis • Experience with business case development and financial modeling • Hands-on work integrating shop-floor data, MES, and analytics systems
