Information Management Analyst (Alation & BigEye) Location: San Antonio, TX (Onsite) Duration: 12 months Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Information Management Analyst to strengthen enterprise data governance, metadata management, and data quality initiatives. This role will leverage Alation (Data Catalog) and BigEye (Data Observability) to ensure data assets are well-documented, governed, and continuously monitored for quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Business stakeholders to support trusted data across the organization. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage enterprise data cataloging using Alation (metadata curation, stewardship workflows, lineage tracking) Configure and monitor data quality rules and alerts using BigEye Perform data quality analysis and root cause investigations Establish and enforce data governance standards and best practices Support business glossary management, data ownership assignment, and certification processes Develop data quality dashboards and reporting metrics Partner with BI, Analytics, and Product teams to ensure reliable reporting data Required Skills 6–7 years of experience in Data Governance / Information Management Strong hands-on experience with Alation (cataloging, lineage, APIs) Hands-on experience with BigEye (data observability, anomaly detection, alerting) Strong SQL skills Experience with modern data warehouses/lakes (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.) Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks Experience working with ETL/ELT pipelines Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills MUST HAVE Skills Hands-on Alation experience Hands-on BigEye experience Strong SQL Data governance & metadata management experience Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in San Antonio, TX 78213
