Role description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst to join our team. This role will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, focusing on initiatives related to IT security, compliance, identity access management (IAM), customer identity, and secure data transfer enablement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management, and modern identity solutions, and will be instrumental in driving secure and compliant technology solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to IT security, compliance, and identity management.
β’ Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for IAM systems, customer identity platforms, and secure data transfer solutions.
β’ Support the design and implementation of security and compliance controls aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).
β’ Partner with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure identity governance and access provisioning meet business and regulatory needs.
β’ Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement in identity and data transfer processes.
β’ Assist in the development of data flow diagrams, process maps, and risk assessments for secure data exchange across internal and external systems.
β’ Monitor and report on compliance metrics, audit findings, and remediation efforts.
β’ Stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory changes impacting identity and data security
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
β’ 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT environments, with a focus on security, compliance, and identity management.
β’ Strong knowledge of IAM technologies (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint), customer identity platforms (CIAM), and secure data transfer protocols.
β’ Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
β’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
β’ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP).
β’ Experience with data governance tools and secure file transfer solutions (e.g., SFTP, MFT).
β’ Familiarity with cloud security and hybrid identity architectures.
