Role Overview · Use technical skills to ensure business requirements are understood at all levels of delivery. · Assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution across development, support, and technical business users. · Serve as an subject matter expert for trading systems initiatives. · Communicate effectively with business, development, QA, infrastructure, and production support teams. · Analyse and map RFQ, order and trade lifecycles to help formulate solutions that will improve quality & efficiency across our trading systems. · Hands-on experience in delivering scalable algorithmic trading technology in a compliant and flexible way. Experience of Algo regulation, audit and compliance (e.g. MIFID2 & RTS6) is highly desirable. Must Have Skills: · Worked as a IT Business Analyst in a trading environment(preferable Front Office and/or Middle Office) · Understanding of Exchange Traded Derivatives · Knowledge of Commodity Trading - Oil and Gas · Trade Life Cycle · Team Player Key Skills and Experience required · Knowledge of Third Party Networks and EMS/OMS software vendors. (e.g., TT, NYFIX, Bloomberg, Trading Screen) · Experience working with instrument static data and/or other Market Data systems & protocols experience in both Windows and Linux operating systems · Experience in analysing and implementing regulatory initiatives (e.g. MIFID II, MAD/MAR) · Solid relevant experience in FIX Engineering · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and propose innovative solutions. · Understanding of trading lifecycle, including order capture & execution, allocation workflow, settlement, and compliance requirements · Experience with application support and vendor management · Strong experience in exchange certification, application Deployment and support · Must have strong technical skills in scripting, Python, PowerShell, C#, SQL or other programming languages · Experience in messaging systems, and experience debugging network protocols such as TCP, multicast, would be highly regarded.
