Information Technology Business Analyst

Location: Exton, PA Position Type: Onsite Contract Length: 9 months + extension Support modernization efforts by analyzing business needs, data flows, and reporting requirements across laboratory systems and partner organizations. This role bridges business and technical teams, ensuring effective data exchange, reporting, and system support within a public health laboratory environment. Required Skills: • 5 years of data analysis utilizing tools such as Microsoft SSRS and Power BI • 3 years of business and process analysis and formalizing system requirements Preferred Skills: • Healthcare industry experience with a focus on health information technology • State, Federal, or Local government experience • Bachelor’s degree with a major in a relevant field • Laboratory experience Duties: • Analyze business processes and translate them into system and technical requirements. • Support data exchange initiatives and reporting between laboratory systems and external partners. • Develop and maintain documentation for requirements, workflows, and processes. • Utilize reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI to create and maintain reports. • Provide onboarding and offboarding support for laboratory systems. • Deliver technical assistance across laboratory divisions as needed. • Collaborate with technical staff and vendors on software development, infrastructure, and integration projects. • Assist bioinformatics staff with IT infrastructure needs. • Act as liaison between laboratory, IT teams, and external stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with established standards, procedures, and deliverable requirements. • Participate in technical and business meetings and provide regular status updates.
