Job OverviewSo Opus Sit Tech Management LLC (SB, DVBE, DVSOB) is seeking highly skilled Information Technology Specialists and Partner Firms to support federal, state, and local government technology projects. This role is critical in ensuring smooth IT operations, deploying secure solutions, and providing expert consultation to our clients.
We regularly secure government contracts that require rapid deployment of qualified personnel. Opportunities are available for individual specialists as well as small businesses/partner firms to collaborate on engagements.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and enterprise applications across diverse environments.
Design, manage, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Implement cybersecurity controls, incident response, and compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and StateRAMP standards.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and agency stakeholders to assess needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Conduct system audits, vulnerability assessments, and performance optimization.
Support data migration, virtualization, and modernization efforts for government systems.
Provide documentation, SOPs, and training to ensure sustainable IT practices.
Stay current on emerging technologies (AI, quantum engineering, advanced networking) to guide long-term strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems and government best practices.
Experience with cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Network configuration and management (firewalls, VPNs, switches, routers).
Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CMMC, CIS, ISO 27001).
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues.
Familiarity with compliance mandates (HIPAA, FedRAMP, StateRAMP, FISMA).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, CASP+, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, PMP.
