Our Tech and Media Client is seeking a Senior Insights Manager to join their growing team!
Job Title: Senior Insights Analyst
Location: Hybrid – Los Angeles, CA
Duration: 6 month plus contract
As an Insights Analyst II on the People Analytics team, you’ll play a critical role in transforming HR data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across the company. You’ll collaborate with individual contributors and leaders at all levels, supporting the broader HR Shared Services team. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, analytical rigor, and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear, compelling way.
Responsibilities
• Analyze and synthesize people data (e.g., hiring trends, retention rates, quarterly reviews) from multiple sources including Excel, Tableau, and internal dashboards.
• Build and maintain visualizations and presentations using Google Sheets and Google Slides.
• Deliver tailored data summaries and insights to HR business partners, operations leaders, and business unit stakeholders.
• Support quarterly and year-end reporting cycles with accurate, well-organized data.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify trends, surface opportunities, and improve reporting methodologies.
• Assist in the design and management of employee engagement and team health surveys.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests with speed, accuracy, and clarity.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within HR or People Analytics.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and data visualization tools.
• Strong presentation skills with experience creating executive-ready decks in Google Slides or PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard for data accuracy and integrity.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Familiarity with survey platforms such as Glint, Qualtrics, or Google Forms.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience communicating data insights to non-technical audiences and senior stakeholders.
• Industry experience in tech, gaming, or a similarly fast-paced environment.
