An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Integration Developer to join and support a public sector organisation amidst a large-scale transformation.
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
β’ Providing advice and guidance on all interfacing and integration issues
β’ Specifying, programming, testing and implementing the solution and review with users/third parties making any necessary amendments
β’ Liaising with stakeholders
β’ Following the IM&T Change Management process when implementing new interfaces and technical changes and bug fixes to existing interfaces
β’ Documentation of new developments and fixes within the IM&T knowledgebase
The successful candidates will have:
β’ Proven track record assisting in developing large complex IT environments
β’ Ability to manage/develop high quality applications and oversee the workload of junior team members as well as personal workload
β’ Ability to undertake solution options appraisals and produce recommendations
β’ Prior working knowledge of: Interface Development, Web Service Development, Databases (SQL Server, Oracle or Object databases), Solution Analysis and Design, Software Testing
β’ Demonstrable success of achievement of managing the technical aspects of projects tasks
β’ Detailed knowledge of relational databases and database design
β’ Good understanding of Project Management principles
β’ Understanding of HL7 messaging is desirable
β’ (Knowledge of interface engines an advantage but not necessary)
