Role description

This is a 6 month contract to work with the project team and has been assessed as outside IR35.
We are looking for someone with experience with business/data analysis to work directly with stakeholders across the UK (on-site) to understand and document processes and requirements within commercial, supply chain and procurement, and technical (quality) to create the business logics to feed into Power BI reports.
Due to the occasional travel requirements of the position (and the remote nature of the sites), you will need to have a full drivers license and your own transportation.
You will make contributions that matter by:
β’ Collaborating with business users to interpret requirements into data models and analytical solutions.
β’ Facilitating workshops and documenting outcomes, including requirements, functional specifications, design, and data models.
β’ Contributing to BI strategy and architecture, ensuring scalable and strategic designs.
β’ Developing and optimising components of the solution to ensure high performance with large data volumes from multiple sources.
β’ Administering and governing multiple data sources into Microsoft Fabric to streamline data management and analytics.
β’ Utilising Microsoft Analytics tools for seamless integration and efficient user interface development.
β’ Troubleshooting and optimizing SQL queries for data accuracy and performance.
You are best suited for the role if you:
β’ Have strong business analysis experience, working with business users to define and document processes, and ability to retrofit source data from applications
β’ Possess strong SQL and Power BI skills, with a focus data - having delivered projects across multiple business processes
β’ Have experience supporting FMCG/fast-paced production-/manufacturing-based businesses
β’ Have strong business acumen and experience with Microsoft Azure technologies
β’ Are proficient in data ingestion, integration, transformation, storage, and management
β’ Have exposure to with data lake/data warehousing concepts and methodologies
β’ Can manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
