Interim Power BI UX/UI Lead (Dashboard Experience & Data Visualisation)- 6 Month Contract- Remote (UK) Overview IN2 Consult is supporting a key client on the search of an experienced Power BI UX/UI specialist to transform and elevate the user experience of our dashboards and reports. This role will focus on improving usability, navigation, and visual clarity across both existing and new Power BI assets, ensuring that non-technical stakeholders can easily interpret data and make informed decisions. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong balance of technical Power BI expertise and user-centered design thinking, with a particular focus on executive-level reporting and data storytelling. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop intuitive, visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports • Review and enhance existing dashboards to improve usability, navigation, and performance • Apply UX/UI best practices, including layout design, accessibility, and interaction patterns • Establish and maintain consistent visual themes, branding, and design standards • Translate complex data into clear, engaging data stories using appropriate visuals and layouts • Optimise report performance, responsiveness, and load times • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions • Ensure dashboards are fully responsive and optimised for mobile and different screen sizes • Provide design guidance and best practice recommendations across the BI function Key Requirements • 4+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence/reporting combined with UX/UI design • Advanced proficiency in Power BI (including report design, DAX, and data modelling) • Strong portfolio showcasing Power BI dashboards and UX/UI design work (required for review) • Proven experience designing executive-level dashboards and reports • Solid understanding of business data domains (e.g., finance, operations, commercial) • Demonstrated expertise in data storytelling and visual communication Key Skills • Power BI (advanced) • UX/UI design principles and best practices • Data storytelling and visual design • DAX and data modelling • Stakeholder engagement and requirement translation Desirable Experience • Experience working in fast-paced or transformation environments • Familiarity with accessibility standards in data visualization • Experience defining design systems or dashboard standards Interim Power BI UX/UI Lead (Dashboard Experience & Data Visualisation)- 6 Month Contract- Remote (UK)
