Principal Consultant – Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP)

Title: Principal Consultant – Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Location: 100% Remote – UK working hours Duration: Contract Pay rate: $90/hr - $106/hr. on W2 Requirements: • Expert-level experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), including AAP 1.x, 2.4, and 2.6. • Strong expertise in Automation Mesh architecture, execution node clustering, and enterprise-scale automation platforms. • Hands-on experience with OpenShift administration and Operator-based deployments. • Deep knowledge of Event-Driven Ansible (EDA) and Private Automation Hub (PAH). • Advanced Ansible playbook development, modernization, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. • Strong experience with Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration, including RHEL 8 to RHEL 9 upgrades. • Expertise in PostgreSQL migrations, database administration, and application upgrade strategies. • Experience integrating automation platforms with Git, CI/CD pipelines, CMDBs, and enterprise infrastructure. • Strong understanding of security governance, RBAC, compliance frameworks, and auditing controls. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and consulting skills. • Ability to work UK business hours and be located within the UK or nearby time zones.
