Role description
Eden Scott’s client is seeking Investment Client Reporting Analyst to join their Financial Services company in Edinburgh on 6 months based. Our client is seeing someone who can deliver exceptional client experiences through data and reporting solutions. The Reporting Solutions team plays a critical role in ensuring clients receive timely, accurate, and insightful investment reporting. Sitting at the intersection of data, technology, and client service, the team partners closely with client-facing teams, project managers, and data providers to deliver high-quality reporting outcomes. Key Responsibilities β€’ Act as a key end user in the migration of client regulatory reporting to a Snowflake-based data framework. β€’ Organise and execute robust testing protocols to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy. β€’ Analyse business processes and data flows to support the development of a scalable business support model. β€’ Design and implement oversight processes to monitor report implementation and delivery. β€’ Translate findings into clear, actionable business and technology requirements. β€’ Validate and implement reporting solutions into the live business environment. β€’ Collaborate with onboarding teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of industry-standard reports. β€’ Gather and analyse client feedback to drive continuous improvement in reporting tools and content. Person Specification β€’ The ideal candidate must have experience in the asset management or financial services industry. β€’ Proficiency in SQL is essential; experience with Python or VBA is a plus. β€’ Demonstrated experience in data visualisation and reporting tools. β€’ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. β€’ A tech-first mindset with a passion for solving problems through innovation. β€’ Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a delivery-driven approach. β€’ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
