KDB Specialist / KDB+/q Developer

Contract Role – KDB Specialist / KDB+/q Developer – London – 12 Months Initial – Inside IR35 We are looking for a skilled KDB Specialist / KDB+/q Developer to work with the eFX strat/engineering teams to build out our analytics framework in KDB+/q and enhance the overall resiliency of our KDB+ estate. Build out reporting dashboards for key stakeholders based on data within KDB. Role Overview: • Job Title: KDB Specialist / KDB+/q Developer • Location: London • Contract Type: Contract • Duration: 12 months initially, Inside IR35 • Strong hands-on experience with KDB+/q development in financial services (preferably front-office trading environments). • Solid understanding of market data, eFX, or time-series data. • Experience building dashboards, reporting tools, or data visualisations. • Knowledge of distributed systems, resiliency, and performance optimisation. • Proficiency in at least one other programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++) is desirable. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams (strats, traders, engineers, operations).
