IT Cloud Engineer β 7+ Month Contract (Extensions Possible)
Location: Remote / Flexible
We are looking for an IT Cloud Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your cloud expertise to drive impactful solutions, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps initiatives.
What Youβll Do:
β’ Design, implement, and support cloud environments (primarily AWS).
β’ Work with product teams to translate requirements into operational cloud solutions.
β’ Automate infrastructure and processes using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CLI, ARM Templates).
β’ Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and scalability.
β’ Support backup, job scheduling, database, and monitoring teams, including Commvault experience preferred.
β’ Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure consistent cloud practices and compliance across regions.
β’ Assist with cloud migrations, security controls, and governance processes.
Top Requirements:
β’ 2+ years of enterprise IT engineering or cloud engineering experience.
β’ Hands-on AWS experience and AWS Cloud Practitioner certification preferred.
β’ Comfortable working cross-functionally with other teams.
β’ Experience with Commvault or other backup technologies is highly preferred.
β’ Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
β’ 5+ years enterprise IT experience, DevOps, automation, or systems programming.
β’ Experience mentoring others, leading projects, and navigating complex technical challenges.
