Contract Data Engineer (ETL/ELT) - Marketing & CX | Hybrid St. Louis Rate: $60-$90/hr (based on experience) Schedule: ~32 hours/week, 6+ months Location: St. Louis-with work from home flexibility and occasional office visits About the role Join the team supporting the E.L.Y. platform to build and automate high‑quality data pipelines. You'll integrate primarily Marketing and CX data, ensure robust data quality, and partner across functions to align data flows with business goals-helping E.L.Y. further its integration within the GenAI ecosystem. What you'll do • Data ingestion & integration: Develop and maintain pipelines that bring Marketing/CX data into E.L.Y., ensuring compatibility across sources. • Data curation & quality: Validate, clean, and organize datasets; implement standards and monitoring to keep data accurate and usable. • Automation & scale: Design automation workflows that streamline handling and improve efficiency and scalability. • Cross‑functional collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, CX, and technical teams; communicate progress and requirements to non‑technical stakeholders. • Performance & reporting: Track pipeline performance and adoption; provide insights that strengthen E.L.Y.'s role in our GenAI stack. What you'll bring • 4-6+ years (Mid) or 7+ years (Expert) in data engineering. • Hands‑on expertise in ETL/ELT, cloud data engineering, and data quality & governance. • A knack for automation and for translating technical work into business value.
