Position: IT Monitoring Analyst (Tech Support) Industry: Finance Type: 6 months contract to hire Location: Evansville, IN (Hybrid) Day to Day Responsibilities: β€’ Monitor and respond to system alerts and notifications from various platforms, including cloud environments, network, applications, servers, and databases. β€’ Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic technical issues related to system performance, connectivity, and cloud resources. β€’ Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate technical team or senior analyst. β€’ Ensure accurate documentation of incidents, including steps taken, resolutions, and any follow-up actions required. β€’ Perform routine checks and reports on system health and performance, focusing on both on-premises and cloud-based systems. β€’ Provide first-level support for clients and end-users, troubleshooting issues through phone, email, or ticketing systems. β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve incident response times and overall operational efficiency Must Haves: β€’ Experience working with BigPanda or Grafana is a must. β€’ 2-4 years' experience in a technical support, IT monitoring or system operations role demonstrating observability principles and best practices β€’ ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence (or other documentation platforms) β€’ Experience with monitoring tools and systems used to track and report system health / performance β€’ Fundamental understanding of networking concepts (TCP /IP, DNS, HTTP etc.) and IT infrastructure (servers/ databases/cloud services) Salary and Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $35 - $37 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
