Role description
Duration: Until 18th December 2026 Workload: Full time hours Setup: Day rate contract inside IR35 Location: London (3 days onsite per week, 2 days remote) We are looking for an experienced IT Project Business Analyst to support a large-scale finance and risk transformation programme within a complex enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities: • Capture and translate business problems into functional and non-functional requirements • Perform process modelling, data analysis, and systems analysis to identify optimisation opportunities • Maintain end-to-end traceability of requirements across delivery, testing, and implementation • Work closely with software vendors, developers, and solution architects to shape solutions • Lead Agile ceremonies and support Product Owners and stakeholders in Agile best practices • Define acceptance criteria and coordinate UAT and testing processes • Develop business cases and support solution evaluation and vendor PoC activities Must-Have Skills: • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within IT project environments (4–7 years) • Strong Agile methodology expertise (Scrum, Kanban, tools such as Jira) • Experience with business process modelling, data analysis, and systems thinking • Ability to manage stakeholders and lead design workshops • Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) Nice-to-Have: • CBAP or PMI-PBA certification • Agile certifications or Lean Practitioner experience • Exposure to SAP, Finance systems, or Trading platforms
