IT/OT Architect/Developer
• Lead design and deployment of IoT edge architectures for systems integration, predictive maintenance, process automation, and quality assurance.
• Through plant survey, identify manufacturing edge compute and networking solution functional and non-functional requirements
• Cluster and organize requirements into logical design patterns
• Evaluate implementation costs for edge solutions
• Identify candidate vendors for edge solutions and perform fitment analysis vs. requirements and costs
• Compile recommendations on edge solutions
• Incorporate aspects of cyber security, network protocols, device management into analysis
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience in IoT edge solutions for industrial automation.
• Strong communication skills, oral and written
• Strong knowledge of AWS IoT, Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, and managed cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of IoT (MQTT,AMQP) and Wireless connectivity (BLE, LoRAWAN) protocols.
