Job Description
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems. This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB.
This position functions as an MDHHS Azure DevOps and Tools Administrator within the Agency Support department. This position will incorporate the DTMB DevSecOps methodology into the tools and platforms within the scope of responsibility. This position provides the technical expertise for the complex and intricate MDHHS Azure DevOps and Containerization Tool Stack including, but not limited to, specializing in the support and administration of the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) Projects Administration for MDHHS and the Azure Dev Ops Project Administration for MDHHS and support for integrations with IIS, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, SQL Server, Windows, Linux, Oracle etc.
This position will act as an escalation point to support OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and Azure DevOps processes including build, release, management, and deployment using Azure DevOps and OCP tools. This position will be required to support Build and Release Engineer Specialists for related activities and provide these services for MDHHS work areas without Build and Release Engineer Specialists.

Signing Bonus
This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12-month period). This does not apply to current state employees.

Position Location/Remote Office: The office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out-of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.
DTMB does not participate in STEM-OPT.

Required Education And Experience
Education and Experience
Possession of a bachelor's degree with at least 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
Experience
Information Technology Specialist 14
Three years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
Alternate Education And Experience
An associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, mathematics or equivalent; and at least two years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
OR
At least an educational level typically acquired through the completion of high school and at least three years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician and four years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11 or one year equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst 12.
