Duration: 12+ Months
We are looking for filling onsite contract positions for the following role in Alpharetta, GA: Sr App Support Analyst, L2 Support Engineer to support enterprise software applications and platforms.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Master's/Bachelors' degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 6+ years of IT experience in a must.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills as resource would eventually be an SME.
Expert level in programming would be a plus point, Experience with user interface design, database structures, and statistical analyses.
Analytical mindset, good problem-solving skills and software debugging capabilities are must.
Ability to work as part of a team and can work with cross commits including offshore counter parts, adapt to new technologies and can learn new tools.
Investigate and troubleshoot production issues. pinpoint problematic code and dependencies in real time, helping to resolve issues faster. In-depth troubleshooting and real-time monitoring capabilities.
Shall be able to support application platforms in both production and the non-production test environments and participate in regular application release processes.
Shall be able to participate in off hours on-call if required.
Work with development teams for handing-off or owning support issues and creating team specific knowledge base and skill set.
Shall be able to perform minor code fixes and co-ordinate with development team for issue management and issue resolution.
TECHNICAL SKILLS: Java/J2EE
Languages: JAVA/J2EE, Cloud Experience (Google Cloud Platform Preferred), Web Services (SOAP, REST) / Messaging, Spring Applications, PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS etc.
CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Java, Python, or Node.js; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; React, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap; SOAP APIs or REST APIs; and Software development for enterprise or web applications.
Operating Systems: Unix/Linux, Windows etc.
Database: Oracle, SQL Server, Postgresql etc.
Tools: Eclipse, SQL Developer tool, etc.
