Role description
Job Role: Full-Stack JavaScript Developer
Reference: BH-360c
Contract Duration: 3 month contract
Location: Remote (UK only)
Daily rate: £350 per day (Outside IR35)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack JavaScript Developer to lead the build of a new client website using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Contentful CMS. You will be responsible for front-end development, CMS integration, and deployment, working closely with designers, QA, and project managers to deliver a fast, modern, and reliable site on time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build a responsive, accessible, and high-performance front-end using Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Build performance backend API services using Next.js
• Set up new Contentful environments and keep the backend synchronised with the external Contentful CMS using Contentful’s API
• Collaborate with QA and UAT teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Optimise for performance, scalability, and SEO.
• Deploy the site to staging and production environments
Essential skills/experience:
• Proven experience with strong React fundamentals and in-depth knowledge of Next.js features (SSR, SSG, routing, API routes).
• Proven track record of building websites using TailwindCSS
• Contentful CMS: Comfortable working in API-driven environments, configuring and integrating content without heavy backend coding.
• Demonstrated track record of building production-ready, responsive UIs with Tailwind.
• Strong preference for technically strong front-end engineers over HubSpot experience — HubSpot skills are secondary.
Additional skills/Desirable experience:
• Experience integrating HubSpot Forms API only (other HubSpot modules not required).
• Familiarity with deploying and optimising sites on Vercel.
• Experience with AWS CI/CD pipelines (note: may be replaced by Vercel deployment).
