Role description
Job Role: Full-Stack JavaScript Developer Reference: BH-360c Contract Duration: 3 month contract Location: Remote (UK only) Daily rate: £350 per day (Outside IR35) Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack JavaScript Developer to lead the build of a new client website using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Contentful CMS. You will be responsible for front-end development, CMS integration, and deployment, working closely with designers, QA, and project managers to deliver a fast, modern, and reliable site on time. Key Responsibilities: • Build a responsive, accessible, and high-performance front-end using Next.js and Tailwind CSS. • Build performance backend API services using Next.js • Set up new Contentful environments and keep the backend synchronised with the external Contentful CMS using Contentful’s API • Collaborate with QA and UAT teams to resolve issues quickly. • Optimise for performance, scalability, and SEO. • Deploy the site to staging and production environments Essential skills/experience: • Proven experience with strong React fundamentals and in-depth knowledge of Next.js features (SSR, SSG, routing, API routes). • Proven track record of building websites using TailwindCSS • Contentful CMS: Comfortable working in API-driven environments, configuring and integrating content without heavy backend coding. • Demonstrated track record of building production-ready, responsive UIs with Tailwind. • Strong preference for technically strong front-end engineers over HubSpot experience — HubSpot skills are secondary. Additional skills/Desirable experience: • Experience integrating HubSpot Forms API only (other HubSpot modules not required). • Familiarity with deploying and optimising sites on Vercel. • Experience with AWS CI/CD pipelines (note: may be replaced by Vercel deployment).
