Support Team
Team Focus Area(s): A React application that connects directly to external customers Snowflake/Databricks accounts in order to display costs/usage and other metrics. We provide recommendations on how to reduce costs by applying schedules to their warehouses within snowflake and databricks. Galaxy is taking on a support role so we will be resolving long standing issues and working across the entire application, front end, backend, and tooling.
Skills you will gain in this role:
Design work, Troubleshooting, Development, Entire tech stack below, Communication skills with product, business and generally making some of the biggest impact within the application.
Tech Stack: Javascript/Typescript (React/ Node.js), Java (legacy services being migrated to Javascript), python (minimal), SQL (Snowflake - lots, Databricks - incoming)
Key Platforms/Systems used: AWS (Lambda, ALB, ECS/EC2, DynamoDb, RDS/Postgres), Snowflake, Databricks, Click House
