Overview
We are seeking a Sr. JIRA Admin to join our clientβs AdTech team, who heavily leverages JIRA. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing their JIRA efforts, ensuring a sustainable hierarchy in coordination with the Ad Tech and digital monetization teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, with extensive experience in JIRA.
Primary Responsibilities
JIRA Administration & Optimization
β’ Own end-to-end JIRA administration: project setup, permissions, workflows, custom fields, automation, and integrations (e.g., Confluence, Slack).
β’ Continuously improve JIRA processes to enhance team collaboration, visibility, and delivery efficiency.
Project Orchestration
β’ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and execute strategic marketing initiatives (campaigns, programs, events).
β’ Ensure alignment on scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables using JIRA as the operational backbone.
Reporting & Communication
β’ Build and maintain JIRA dashboards and custom reports to track KPIs and execution status.
β’ Provide actionable insights and updates to leadership and stakeholders to support transparency and data-driven decisions.
Enablement & Support
β’ Deliver JIRA training and support to cross-functional teams.
β’ Document workflows, templates, and best practices to drive platform adoption and scalability.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.
β’ 3+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or project management, ideally within a marketing or tech-driven environment.
β’ Proven hands-on experience as a JIRA Administrator in Agile, cross-functional settings.
β’ Familiarity with Confluence, Miro, and automation/scripting tools (e.g., Groovy, Python).
β’ Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
