Job Title: Kafka Developer Location: Fortville, SC or San Diego, CA (4 positions) Role Summary: Looking for Kafka Developers to build robust real-time streaming platforms using Apache Kafka. You will focus on event-driven architecture, topic design, consumer group optimization, and integration with microservices. Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize Kafka producers, consumers, and connectors. Design topic structure and manage schema evolution using Schema Registry. Implement monitoring and alerting for Kafka clusters. Work with microservices to enable real-time event processing. Ensure high throughput and fault-tolerant message flows. Skills Required: 4+ years with Apache Kafka, event streaming. Proficient in Java (Spring Boot) or Python. Experience with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and Schema Registry. Familiarity with Confluent tools and distributed tracing. Solid grasp of partitioning, replication, and offset management. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
