Job Description
LDAP Directory Engineering
β’ Design, deploy, and maintain LDAP infrastructures (e.g., OpenLDAP, PingDirectory, Active Directory)
β’ Configure schemas, manage directory trees, and enforce access control policies
β’ Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply upgrades or patches
β’ Implement replication, synchronization, and high-availability solutions
β’ Integration & Identity Management
β’ Integrate LDAP with SSO, MFA, and IAM platforms
β’ Collaborate with application teams to optimize directory queries and access
β’ Support identity federation and secure authentication mechanisms
DevOps & Automation
β’ Automate deployments and updates using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet
β’ β’ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for directory provisioning
β’ β’ Monitor infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
β’ Implement cloud-native solutions for scalability and resilience
Java Integration & Development
β’ Develop Java applications to test and validate LDAP and JDBC connections
β’ Build custom LDAP adapters and connectors using Java for integration with databases like PostgreSQL
β’ Use Java-based APIs (e.g., JNDI) to interface with LDAP directories
Security & Compliance
β’ Apply DevSecOps principles to safeguard directories
β’ Conduct audits and ensure compliance with standards
β’ Implement backup, disaster recovery, and incident response mechanisms
Collaboration & Leadership
β’ Act as SME for LDAP technologies and best practices
β’ Provide documentation, training, and knowledge sharing
β’ Lead cross-functional initiatives and mentor junior engineers
Qualifications (Minimum 5-8 years)
Technical Skills:
β’ Expertise in LDAP systems (OpenLDAP, Active Directory, Oracle Directory Server)
β’ Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
β’ Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
Soft Skills:
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
β’ Ability to lead projects and work independently
