Lead Business Analyst - Data

Contract Business Analyst is required to support the programme by translating business and data requirements into clear deliverables for the data engineering and platform teams. Key Responsibilities • Lead business and data requirements gathering across key domains. • Translate stakeholder needs into functional data specifications for engineering teams. • Define source-to-target mappings and transformation rules for platform migration. • Support definition and implementation of MDM entities, hierarchies and golden records. • Document data flows, lineage and integration dependencies across the platform. • Support rollout of data governance processes, ownership models and data quality rules. • Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, data engineers and vendors. Core Deliverables • Business and functional data requirements documentation • Source-to-target mapping and transformation logic • Master data definitions and matching/survivorship rules • Data lineage and process flow documentation • Migration analysis for Databricks → Snowflake • Data governance artefacts (ownership, stewardship, quality rules) • UAT support and data validation frameworks Required Experience • 6–10+ years Business Analysis experience on data programmes • Experience delivering MDM implementations • Strong experience with Informatica (MDM / Data Quality / Integration) • Experience working with Snowflake or modern cloud data platforms • Exposure to Databricks or lakehouse architectures • Strong understanding of data modelling, governance and data quality
