Role description
Lead Data Engineer | Snowflake Outside IR35 Remote First / occasional travel to London Competitive Rate We're looking for a highly capable Snowflake specialist to act as the key link between our technical delivery teams and senior business stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who can combine strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and data platforms with the ability to translate technical capability into commercial value. You'll be the person ensuring our Snowflake implementation delivers maximum ROI, is aligned with strategic objectives, and actually lands successfully across the organisation. Skills & Experience • Hands-on experience with Snowflake (querying, modelling, warehousing, optimisation, governance, etc.). • Proven ability to operate in a bridge role - translating technical detail into business value. • Experience supporting or leading Snowflake implementations or similar cloud data platform projects. • Strong understanding of data engineering/architecture concepts (not necessarily expert level, but enough to guide conversations). • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills - confident speaking with technical teams, project leads, and execs. • Ability to challenge, influence, and guide both business and technical direction. • Comfortable operating in environments where requirements evolve and clarity needs to be created.
