Get more details below! • Contract-to-Hire: 6 months • Worksite Location: Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI | Hybrid • Conversion Salary Range: $98,400-$154,600 • Important: All candidates must be eligible for hire without sponsorship. Why This Role Stands Out • Opportunity to step into a leadership path in a growing, modernization-focused environment • Direct impact on automation strategy for a collaborative 11-member DBA team • Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on high-visibility initiatives What You’ll Do • Lead the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines across cloud and on-prem environments • Manage administration, monitoring, and performance tuning of Oracle, Snowflake, Azure SQL, and MS SQL databases • Partner with teams to troubleshoot, optimize queries, and streamline database provisioning and maintenance • Drive automation initiatives, introducing tools and processes to increase efficiency • Contribute to data migration and integration efforts in cloud transformation projects • Ensure database security, access controls, and compliance with internal standards • Act as a coach and mentor within the team, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices • Participate in an on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations What You Bring • 7+ years in database engineering • Proven hands-on experience with: Oracle, Snowflake, or Azure SQL Database • Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization • Solid understanding of Azure or other cloud platforms • Automation-first mindset with experience in scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform) • Strong communication skills and the ability to bridge teams and build relationships As an equal opportunity employer, Dahl Consulting welcomes candidates of all backgrounds and experiences to apply.
