Location: London (Hybrid – up to 2 days in-office)
Contract Length: 6 months
Security Clearance: Active SC required
Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for modern cloud infrastructure and mentoring others? We’re looking for a Lead Engineer to join a highly skilled team focused on delivering critical data collection platforms within a secure, high-impact environment.
What You’ll Bring:
• Must bring experience from previous financial sector work
• Strong experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Azure
• Solid PowerShell scripting skills
• Confident with Git for source control
• A “security-first” mindset baked into your development approach
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Desirable Skills:
• Deploying and configuring Windows systems in Azure using Infrastructure as Code
• SQL and Azure Monitoring knowledge
• Background in C# and SQL Server development
You’ll Be Doing:
• Leading and contributing to projects across a mix of modern cloud-based and traditional systems
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring peers
• Documenting your work to share knowledge and drive improvement
